Disney World Vacation Tip - Christmas Edition
Here's my list of MUST-DO holiday experiences for your day at MAGIC KINGDOM included with your day ticket:
- Go on a Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party day (lower crowds, leave by 6:00pm)
- Jingle Cruise (Jungle Cruise holiday overlay)
- Tomorrowland Speedway at night (holiday overlay)
- Frozen Holiday Surprise stage show and SNOAP fall (snow/soap in front of the castle at 6:15pm)
- Mickey Christmas Carol window displays near the BIG Main Street Christmas Tree outside the Emporium
- The BIG Christmas tree and decorations throughout the park

Budget-friendly Christmas Ideas with Your Kids (some links included):
- Make gifts for extended family using supplies you already have (a list for our house: draw or paint a picture, make jewelry, paint a wooden ornament, iron beads key chains or magnets, personalized snowflakes, thumbprint Christmas tree (your thumbprints are the ornaments), handprint reindeer (bonus for kid's picture being the reindeer head and hand prints are the antlers)
- Drive around looking at Christmas lights (ask neighborhood or church Facebook groups for ideas, and don't forget the peppermint hot cocoa)
- Camp out under the Christmas tree with s'mores (s'mores kit option)
- Christmas cookie baking party with friends/family
- Find the most decorated hotel or park in your city

Budget-Friendly At-Home Date Night Ideas
- Watch a cheesy Hallmark-like Christmas movie with popcorn and red and green M&M's
- Candlelight charcuterie board (Aldi has a great selection of meats and cheeses)
- Walk through your neighborhood looking at Christmas lights
- Build a gingerbread house (graham crackers and frosting would work if you don't want to buy a kit)
- Find a YouTube Christmas cooking video and make something new together
